Sultan's Elephant
7th May, 2006 London [link] Quite surreal, this giant mechanical elephant was in London from 4th-7th May. It's 40 ft high and weighs 42 tonnes, and it even squirts water! The atmosphere was fantastic - I've never seen anything like it before. This particular shot was taken on the final day when it paraded through the streets. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes.
